I Love Pictures

I love pictures! I love getting my picture taken (when I think I look decent enough!), I love taking pictures, I love printed pictures that I can frame and scrapbook all around my house. I take so many pictures it drives most people (especially my hubby) crazy! 

I recently convinced him to do a photo shoot with me to showcase our puppy and to have new photos for our Christmas cards I hope to send out.  Thanks to Chelsea McDonald and Rachel Earls we got some great photos like the one above! Pictures mean a lot to me. They are physical reminders of all the wonderful memories that we have gotten to share. I love looking at old photos from throughout the family.  Last year my grandmother passed away and as all the family gathered we pulled out all the old photo albums from the past. I got to see old picture of my grandparents from their early years, I got to see pictures of my mom as a kid growing up. And then I got to see some rare photos of my parents early years together after they were married. 

The point is I know most people do not like to take photos, they do not like the way they look, their hair or make-up is not done. But embrace it, take the silly pictures, stick your tongue out for the camera, and enjoy life. 20 years in the future, nobody is going to care and they will just be grateful of the record of our lives!
